Freeze Dry Question
How long does it take to freeze dry flowers?

Freeze Dry Answer
Your flowers are considered a Work of Art and handled accordingly. The actual freeze drying process takes 10-12 days. The entire freeze dry and design process takes approximately 12 to 16 weeks.

Freeze Dry Question
What is Freeze Drying?

Freeze Dry Answer
Freeze drying is a preservation process which allows us to dry flowers while maintaining their natural shape and color. Good Housekeeping Magazine has rated freeze drying the best preservation method available today for flowers.

Freeze Dry Question
Can all flowers be freeze dried?

Freeze Dry Answer
We have perfected freeze drying almost all types of flowers; however, we are unable to freeze dry Bouvardia and Shasta Daisies.

Freeze Dry Question
Do flowers change color?

Freeze Dry Answer
Some colors, such as dark red, will tend to deepen. Whites may take on more of an ivory appearance. You must remember the flowers are being preserved and Mother Nature believes in changing the colors when fresh flowers are dried. Preserved freeze dried flowers will keep their shape but color may change slightly.

Freeze Dry Question
How long will freeze dried flowers last?

Freeze Dry Answer
This depends on the environment the flowers are placed in after preservation. Excessive humidity and ultraviolet light are the main enemies of preserved flowers. Designs in frames with domes, shadowboxes, or glass boxes are protected from high humidity. Placing your display in indirect lighting will minimize fading. You will be able to enjoy our preserved "Floral Keepsake" for many years.

Freeze Dry Question
Is a Deposit Required?

Freeze Dry Answer
For Wedding Flowers a $150.00 deposit is required. The deposit will go towards the price of the display. The price of the display includes, preservation of the flowers, designing, and the display itself. All other flowers, full payment is required at time of deliver. Deposits are non-refundable.

Freeze Dry Question
How much does it cost?

Freeze Dry Answer
The cost is based on the style and size of the display. The price of the Display includes the freeze drying of the flowers, designing of the Keepsake, and the Display itself. The Deposit of $150.00 goes towards the overall cost of the Display. If you order a Display that costs $400.00, the deposit goes towards the $400.00 and your remaining balance will be $250.00 (this does not include tax- tax is based on the $400.00). Our displays range in price from $50.00 to $800.00, with the average around $300.00 to $450.00.

Freeze Dry Question
When should I place my order?

Freeze Dry Answer
Customers with “Keepsake Flowers” (other than wedding) should call us as soon as possible at 623-977-2010. Wedding customers should call and reserve space in our freeze dryers prior to the wedding. We can then provide you with helpful information and supplies.

Please Note: if your wedding has already taken place or will take place in a few days, please call 623-977-2010. We still are able to help you preserve your flowers.

Freeze Dry Question
When do I need to select my Keepsake Display?

Freeze Dry Answer
You will need to select your Keepsake Display within 30 days from the date your flowers were delivered. Remaining balance is due at time of Display selection.

Freeze Dry Question
How soon do you need the flowers?

Freeze Dry Answer
The sooner (fresher), the better the results. Flowers should be dropped off or shipped on the first business day after the wedding. If you are married on Friday or Saturday, it is best to deliver the flowers on Monday or Tuesday after the wedding. Please call 623-977-2010 to arrange for our services.

Freeze Dry Question
Will you preserve just the flowers without mounting them in a Keepsake Display?

Freeze Dry Answer
No! To properly take care of freeze dried flowers they need to be placed into a Keepsake Display. The Display gives the preserved flowers longevity. The Keepsake Display helps protect the preserved flowers from dust, moisture, UV light, and insects. All Shadowboxes and Frames with Domes have UV Acrylic Domes and Panes that help to protect the flowers from UV light rays.

Freeze Dry Question
Do you ship all the displays shown on your website?

Freeze Dry Answer
No.  We do not ship shadowboxes that contain glass goblets in the display.  Nor do we ship the larger glass tabletop displays. We do ship all other shadowboxes and the wall frames with domes.  We do ship the small glass encasements such as the 4x4 square glass display and the 4x4 dome glass display.
