Fresh Flower Care and Delivery Instructions

It is essential that your fresh flowers and bouquets are delivered to us as soon as possible after your special occasion.  The fresher the flowers, the better they will freeze dry.  For best results, we should receive your flowers within 1 to 3 days after the event.

Preserving your flowers requires good planning.  Please call 623-977-2010 to set up a time to deliver your flowers to us or for us to pick up your arrangement.

Fresh Flower Care

1. DO NOT place your fresh flowers in a freezer and DO NOT let your flowers freeze.
2. If flowers or bouquets are on long stems, cut  ½ inch off the bottom of the stems and place in a vase of water.  If the stems are wrapped with ribbon make sure the water in the vase does not touch the ribbon as much as possible.
3. If the flower stems are inserted into a green floral foam, moisten the foam with water.
4. Store the flowers in a refrigerator until the fresh flowers are delivered or shipped.  DO NOT store with fruits or vegetable.

Delivering Your Fresh Flowers

Three Ways to deliver your flowers:

1.  You deliver your fresh flowers to Preserve Your Flowers

1. Call 623-977-2010 to make a delivery appointment.  We would like to receive your flowers 1 to 3 days after the event.  
2. If you, a family member, or friend will be delivering the flowers, please complete the Information Form and the Terms and Conditions Form and bring them with the flowers.
3. If your flowers are being delivered, and you have not contacted Preserve Your Flowers the the person delivering the flowers will need to complete the Information Form and sign the Terms and Conditions Form.  Their signature is with the understanding that you will abide by the terms and conditions.
4. Wedding Bouquets
   • A deposit of $150.00 is required when flowers are delivered.   The deposit is non-refundable.
     
   • You must make an appointment within 30 days after the flowers have been delivered to select your display.  Full Payment is due at time of Display Selection.
     
5. Other Fresh Flowers from Other Events
   1. When the fresh flowers are brought in, you will need to select your display at the time of delivery.  Full payment is required at this time.

2.  Pick Up Service

Preserve Your Flowers pick up service is available at additional cost.  Please call 623-977-2010 to find out if you are in our service area and to make arrangements to have your flowers picked up.  The following information is necessary for our flower pick up service:

1. Name of business where the flowers are to be picked up.
2. Address
3. Contact Person or Name of Coordinator.
4. Phone number of person or persons who will be in charge of handling the flowers at time of pick up.

The Information Form and Terms and Conditions Form must be completed and emailed, faxed, or mailed to us.  A deposit of $150.00 plus pick up fee is required before or at the time we pick up your wedding flowers.  The deposit and pick up fee are non-refundable.  You must make an appointment within 30 days after Preserve Your Flowers has picked up you flowers to select your display.  Full Payment is due at time of Display Selection.

3.  Shipping Fresh Flowers:

Please call Preserve Your Flowers (623-977-2010) to let us know you will be shipping your fresh flowers to us.  You will need to make a deposit of $150.00 by credit card or check before shipping your flowers.  Also you must complete the Information Form and Terms and Condition Form.  Forms should be email, fax, or sent with flowers.

You have within 30 days after the flowers have been delivered to us to make your display selection.  This will need to be done by phone (623-977-2010) and you will need to have access to our website when calling our location.

Shipping Your Flowers in an Insulated Plastic Cooler

1. Use an Insulated Plastic Cooler to ship your fresh flowers to us.
2. Tape two frozen ice packs inside the bottom of the cooler with duct tape.
3. Place two inches of crushed tissue paper on the bottom of the cooler.
4. If flowers still have their long stems then wrap wet paper towels at the bottom of the stems and then wrap aluminum foil around the wet paper towels.
5. Place bouquet in a plastic bag large enough for bouquet to fit (a 13 gallon kitchen trash bag works well).  Blow air into the bag and twist tie the bag shut.  Place bouquet in cooler.
6. Add some crushed  tissue on top of plastic bag.
7. Place order form and signed terms and conditions form in plastic zip lock bag and place on top of packing materials.
8. Tape the Cooler Lid shut with Duct Tape.
9. Place Shipping Label on top of box with clear tape.

11. You will need to ship the flowers OVERNIGHT via PARCEL POST EXPRESS, UPS NEXT DAY AIR or FEDEX NEXT DAY AIR.
