My husband and I have been involved in every phase of the Floral Freeze Drying Industry since its inception in 1988 (21 years ago).  We were the third business to purchase a Floral Freeze Dryer in the US.   The Freeze Dryer arrived with a half page of instructions on how to operate it that did not work.  So we set about writing the first real manual for Freeze Drying Flowers that is still in use today.

Initially we processed very large quantities of flowers that were distributed to retail and wholesale florists, gift shops, and interior designers.   Our first attempt to ship our first load of freeze dried flowers ended in disaster.  The freeze dried flowers were so fragile they ended up as potpourri by the time they reached their destination.  So one sane and one crazy person did not give up.  We hired our chemist to develop pre-treatments and post-treatments to make the freeze dried flowers durable and open cell structure (so the flowers would not be damaged in the freeze drying process).  After many many samples our chemist came up with the pre-treatments we use today (that are safe and biodegradable).

Since then we have sold the wholesale freeze dried business and three years ago opened our first Retail Floral Freeze Dried Keepsake Business, Preserve Your Flowers LLC.  We have brought our 21 years of preservation and design experience that we have gained over the years to Preserve Your Flowers LLC.

We use a combination of Science and Art to create Cherished Memories for you to Treasure.   It is a pleasure to create for you, your Own Personal Work of Art.

Enjoy!
